Lakhovsky Oscillating Open Coils
This second device does have a tendency to boggle the mind, however, you are more than welcome to verify the information given here by checking it out on the Internet.  In fact, I would encourage you to do so.

The Russian genius, Georges Lakhovsky (1869-1942) who specialized in bio-electrics and whose masterpiece undoubtedly was the invention and  development of the Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator, didn't start at the top.  His first oscillator, an open ended copper coil, didn't even require power and constituted nothing more than a strip of heavy copper tubing or wiring.

Originally, this open ended coil was used on plants that had been deliberately infected with cancerous cells (bacterium tumifaciens) taken from another infected plant. An open ended 30cm diameter copper coil was attached to an upright stake and arranged so that it encircled the stricken plant about 8 inches from the base.  Within thirty days, the infected plant sloughed off the cancer while control plants without the copper coil died.

Lakhovsky's postulated explanation was that the coil served as an antenna, capturing part of the fequency spectrum of the cosmic rays that continually bombard the earth, further amplifying the oscillating frequency of the plant and thereby maintaining its natural equilibrium.

Point is, the coil theory (with appropriately sized coils) was later tried on animals and eventually on humans.  Coils were placed on wrists, elbows, around the waist, knee etc., and similar results were achieved.  Lakhovsky's  Multiple Wave Oscillator did the same thing, although since it was powered by electricity, it did it faster and with greater precision, but it  was preceded by the open ended coil.

How do you make and use one of these Lahkovsky open ended coils?  Simple.  Take a length of heavy copper wire (house wiring is good) or a length of quarter or even half inch soft  copper tubing (from any auto. store.  You can hammer it flat if you wish).  Measure (for example) around your waist, add a little extra to allow for a three or four inch overlap and just wrap it around your waist, make sure that the two open and overlapping ends to not touch each other.  Do the same thing for any other affected limb as required.

Simple, isn't it?  Wasn't even worth a diagram!  To use it, wear it for two or three one hour sessions two or three times a week.  Longer and more frequently if you wish.  Just remember that you cannot close the end of the coil, leave it spread apart and overlapping.  If you go any other way, it won't work!  In theory, the positioning of the coil will kill or inactivate any pathogenic activity in the immediate area or in the case with larger coils, throughout the entire body.

Back up your first attempt to make a Lakhovsky Coil with some solid research concerning size and so forth.  Different diameter coils may well produce different results.  Eventually, you might want to construct a powered, Multiple Wave Oscillator that is both tuneable and variable in terms of power and frequency.  Try this one first.  You have to walk before you can run!

In closing, the open oscillating coil is the forerunner of the copper bands and bracelets worn by thousands of people to help their arthritis.  Some swear by them and others swear at them as completely ineffective.  I have noted that many of these articles are either closed with a fastener or the ends don't even meet, never mind overlap.  I would hazard a guess that this latter category is the one that is sworn AT.  The coil MUST have an overlap and open ends to be effective.

Good luck!
